"Drops in the Ocean 2022": updates

Our second communitarian charitable initiative for this Lent, "Drops in the Ocean 2022" is going ahead and the collection will continue until the Holy Mass of April 17th (Easter Sunday).


Here is a brief summary of what has been collected so far:

  • 6.2 Kg of pasta

  • 200 g of "pastina"

  • 5 Kg of rice

  • 5 Kg of wheat flour

  • 5 Kg of sugar

  • 7 Lt of milk

  • 6 Lt of vegetable oil

  • 3.6 Kg of tomato sauce

  • 1.5 Kg of dried legumes

  • 4.5 Lt of juices

  • 7 packs of biscuits

  • 2 cans of tuna

  • 5 cans of fish

  • 4 cans of meat

  • 8 cans of legumes

  • 1 Kg of fruit jam

  • 500 g of coffee

  • 8 packs of teabags

  • 2 packs of napkins

  • 1.5 Lt of dish soap

  • 1 Lt of shampoo

  • 2.6 Lt of bath/shower soap

  • 2 packs of baby wipes

  • 1 pack of toilette paper (x10)

  • 1 pack of tissues (x10)

  • 2 kitchen rolls

And also some olives, polenta, cocoa powder, fruit in syrup, couscous.


In thanking everyone's generosity and according to the list above, we would like to point out the priority for the next two Sundays of the following foods and basic necessities:

  • Household and personal hygiene soaps

  • Soup bags

  • Tuna

  • Coffee

Nevertheless, taking into account that we are trying to satisfy the needs of those five beneficiaries/families proposed by the local Caritas, we hope to gather more stuff in general.
